01: GENERAL NOTES

1. Contractor is limited to the choice of brand, make source, manufacturer, installer or specialty
trade contractors specified herein.

2. When an “equal” or “equivalent” is places immediately after the specified material, the bidder
is allowed to make substitution, however, the Architect or the Owner reserves the right to
accept or to reject such proposed substitutes.

3. Samples of all materials and finishes such as fixtures, mouldings, jambs, hardwares, must be
submitted to the Architect before fabrication and or purchase of materials.

02: SITE WORK

1. Borrow materials-selected, approved materials meeting the definition of pitrun sand and
gravel.

2. Lentrek for soil poisoning.

03: MASONRY

1. CONCRETE MASONRY WORK


a. Cement – “Republic”, “Hi-cement”, “Island Cement” or equivalent.
b. Mortar Proportions – as per structural specifications.
c. Steel Reinforcing Bars – as per structural specifications and details.

04: METAL

1. MISCELLANEOUS METALS
a. Bolts with expansion shields – for counters, anchors to walls, etc.
b. Wall/Saddle Clamps for plumbing works – with expansion shield, threaded rod with the flat
bar and u bolts as required.
c. Steel Grills as specified on plan.
d. Hand rail and Grabs for Persons with Disability shall be 3”dia s/s pipe with applicable
escutcheons and metal screws.

06: DOORS AND WINDOWS


1. Refer to schedule of Doors and Windows indicated in architectural drawings for dimensions
and sections. For all metal works, paint all sections and grillages with red oxide primer before
transport to site. And for all aluminum section finish powder coat also before transport.

2. FIELD PAINTING WORK


Use Boysen Permacoat
 Semi-gloss paint off white on all concrete and drywalls.
 Semi-gloss Finish at Accent Walls
 Metal surfaces shall be coated with red oxide and metal paint
 All galvanized surfaces shall be coated with red oxide lead before application of
specified color

All furniture’s are modular type, all materials to be used are locally available (melamine laminated
wood)
