R & B Department

Meeting notes:

WAPCOS Limited has been appointed as a master infrastructure consultant for Mandal Becharaji Special
Investment region (MBSIR). In context to the same, a meeting was called on dated 28.08.2017 to discuss
project progress for detailed design for roads and detailed design for storm water.

Following important points were discussed during the meeting

 WAPCOS explained to R & B the revised grading plan as per the storm water design strategy. The
difference between existing and proposed road levels was also explained in detail to R & B.
 WAPCOS has suggested to R & B to raise the level of SH7 as per the proposed grading plan,
otherwise it shall be difficult to drain storm water effectively on SH7. R & B has suggested that
they need to discuss amongst their senior management about the decision to raise the level of
SH7 as they have already started work of four-laning on SH7.
 WAPCOS has suggested that the there shall be a uniform increase of 900mm on the proposed
grading plan, to accommodate crossing of existing utilities over storm water culverts. This would
mean that the current proposed FRLs would act as bottom of sub base.
 Based on these revisions, the vertical and horizontal profiles of phase-1 DP roads shall be
prepared and shown to R&B for approval.
