COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will be used as a basis for planning, strategy, and making decision in business
operation, so that the goal can be achieved in accordance with the plan. This industrial feasibility
analysis can be a reference or input to the bank or financial institution that provides credit facility
or financial support for development of industrial project.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The Objectives of this course are as follows :


a) To identify the industrial feasibility analysis in terms of legal aspect, technical aspect, market
aspect, organization and management aspect, financial aspect and the social and
environmental impact assessment.
b) To categorize the physical condition of the project site.
c) To find out the socio-economic conditions of communities around the project.
d) To recognize the availability of infrastructures and facilities around the project location.
e) To make a business plan and a business model canvas.

In order to arrive at a final grade for the course, evaluation of a student's performance is made as
follows:

Students are required to do a term project to be announced in the first class and subsequent
opportunities.

Attendance
Students are expected to attend all classes. Anyone unable to attend, please contact the instructor as
soon as possible to make arrangements for make-up work (if necessary). Make-up assignments will
only be given when necessary due to extreme circumstances such as a death in the family, illness, etc.
The student is responsible for any missed information (class notes, handouts, etc.).
