Continue for 6 more rows of moss stitch (knit all purl stitches and purl all knit stitches), always
knitting the first and last 3 stitches, increasing at markers on right side as established, and
continuing center cable as established. Bind off.
Wrap remaining yarn around a chair back and cut through all strands to make equal lengths of
yarn about 32” in length. Use a crochet hook to attach lengths of yarn to the point of the shawl
where the cable ends. Braid the strands of yarn in the same direction and style as the cable.
Use an end of scrap yarn to tie the braid at the end.
