1. LIVE LINE MAINTENANCE TECHNIQUES (LLMT) USING HOT STICK METHOD (HSM)
Duration : 12 Weeks
Who may attend : Foremen, Linemen, Asstt. Linemen, Supervisors, Junior Engineers, Asstt. Engineers, etc. actively involved in Line Maintenance activities having physical
fitness. It is preferred that one of the nominees be in the rank of Executive cadre.

Course Fee : The course is fully residential and Course fee includes Boarding & Lodging
The fee details Can Be Obtained on Request.
This Course is conducted about 3 times in a year.
2. LIVE LINE MAINTENANCE TECHNIQUES (LLMT) USING BARE HANDMETHOD (BHM) ON 400 kV
LINES
Duration: 5 Weeks
Who may attend : Foremen, Linemen, Asstt. Linemen, Supervisors, Junior Engineers, Asstt. Engineers, etc. actively involved in Line Maintenance activities having physical
fitness. It is preferred that one of the nominees be in the rank of Executive cadre. The candidates should have already been trained in Live Line Maintenance Techniques using
Hot Stick Method upto 220kV

Course Fee : The course is fully residential and the Course fee include Boarding & Lodging
The fee details Can Be Obtained on Request.
This Course is conducted once in a year.
3. SWITCHYARD MAINTENANCE TECHNIQUES USING LIVE LINE MAINTEANACNE TECHNIQUES
(LLMT).
Duration : 4 Weeks
Who may attend : Foremen, Linemen, Asstt. Linemen, Supervisors, Junior Engineers, Asstt.Engineers, etc. actively involved in EHV Substation Maintenance activities having
physical fitness. It is preferred that one of the nominees be in the rank of Executive cadre. The nominees sholud have attended LLMT using HSM course

Course Fee : The course is fully residential and Course fee includes Boarding & Lodging
The fee details Can Be Obtained on Request.
This Course is conducted once in a year.
4.LIVE LINE PUNCTURED INSULATOR DETECTION -PID

5.CAPSULE COURSE FOR EXECUTIVES IN HOT LINE ACTIVITIES
Duration: 1 week
Who may attend :
Executives in the rank of Junior Engineer and above who are not trained in Hot Line Activities & senior officers from Admin/personal dept. This Course is conducted 3 times in a
year.

Other Need Based Courses:-

6.LIVE LINE INSULATOR WASHING- (ONSITE COURSE) AT ITS LOCATION FOR 4 OR 5 DAYS.
This Course Can be conducted based on the request from Clients.
7.FAMILIARISATION TRAINING PROGRAMME ON COLD LINES – BANGALORE
Duration : 4 Weeks

Note: (1) The training courses and/ its starting dates are likely to vary and utilities are requested to contact HLTC one to two months before hand to ascertain it. (2) NPTI is
exempted from deduction of Income Tax at source under section No.10 (23C) (iiiab) of Income Tax Act 1961 vide letter No.ACIR/R-1/Fbd/03- 04/5001 dated 27.10.2003 and
hence no deduction of tax at source be made from course fee for all the courses.
