Board of Directors 2018-2019

River of Pride

Directors Responsibility:

River of Pride is a non-profit operated by a Board of Directors (BOD) annually elected by

its membership, which are the LGBTQ+ people of South-East New-Brunswick. The
Directors are the visionaries of the organisation and ensure its development and

additional implication is at their discretion. The Board also acts as the supervisor of all
paid employees and are accountable to their membership. Positions such as the
President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary necessarily demand a bigger time
investment.

Elections Procedures:

During the Annual General Meeting, all candidates will each speak for one minute to
motivate their application to the Board of Directors. There are four Executive positions
(President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary) with six Director positions. Each
term is one year, and there are no limits to re-elections. Positions are not remunerated.

Board of Directors Eligibility:

• LGBTQ+
• Residing in the South-East of New-Brunswick
