My field of study in Bachelor was specialized in Teaching Science for Elementary Schools. I have an excellence
knowledge and practice in science pedagogy in more than 4 schools during my bachelor study. I also have the expertise
in determining the appropriate teaching method for the subject of according to the student’s ability level. To reinforce
my understanding of science pedagogy, I am also have made an Action Research regarding to the Effectiveness of
Inquiry Based Learning for Elementary School in Science Subject

Other than that, I am also have a excellence mastery in the content of science especially for elementary science subject.
This include on how to adapt and adopt the content knowledge to the student in various level and ability.

Furthermore, I am also specialized in psychological in Education. I have made a good study in the development of
children and guidance and counselling for students both in my first Degree and my Master’s study.

In addition, starting from early 2017, I have started engaging in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics) education. I have attended more than 3 workshops and courses in order to explore how the STEM
implemented in schools.
I am postgraduate studying in Master’s Degree in Education. Previously I was studied in Bachelor of
Teaching. In conclusion, my major field of study is education as well as I am a Teacher.

My research theme after arrival in Japan will be Educational Policy which focus on STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Education. Nowadays, the STEM Education has become a very
important thing as world really need a citizen equipped with Scientific knowledge. In addition, Malaysia as
a country which is still new to STEM Education. Thus, it lead me to choose this research theme in
comparison with Japan. As a conclusion, I will use this chance to study as much as possible the adaptation
and the implementation of STEM education in primary and secondary (Junior Lower & Higher) schools in
Japan.
