MPG can’t use

The customer cannot run the machine in Generator, SIEMENS engineer suggested to
Raise the capacity of the generator because customer use 30KVA for machine
including compressor.

Now the machine is running only in the Manufacturer mode (password EVENING) and
in User mode (password CUSTOMER), can’t access the expert mode (password
DESCRIPTION
SUNRISE) because the operator has set a new password for Expert mode and forgot,
this creates a situation that cannot alter any drive or axis parameter.

When upgrade the generator and if want to alter any operating voltage for drive, it
cannot do that because the password was changed. Siemens engineer replied that
system to be formatted and fresh boot up to be done to access the EXPERT MODE.

If set Expert mode (password SUNRISE) , password changed and forgot, pls. follow
backup the system file NC.ARC and then restore it for clear password. After that input
SUNRISE password for Expert mode. Detail of the steps as following.
Operation steps :

Step 1 : Backup laser compensation data .

1. Insert a CF card into the PCU external slot.

OVERHAUL 2. After the machine is start up , press combination key
SHIFT+ALARM .
OF 3. Set the access level by press Set password and input
password “CUSTOMER”.
PROCESS 4. Press Recall key to previous menu level , press Start-up files .
5. Press 802D data .
6. Select Data and press Input .
7. Select Compensation : Leadscrew error and press Copy .
8. Press Customer CF card , press Paste to backup system
data. (complete_eec.ini)

Step 2 : Backup system NC.ARC

1. Press 802D data .

2. Select Start-up archieve (NC/PLC/Drive) and press Copy .
3. Press Customer CF card , press Paste and input NC.ARJ to
backup system.

Step 3 : Restore old system .

1. Press Customer CF card ,select the NC.ARC and press

Copy .

2. Press 802D data .

3. Select Start-up archieve (NC/PLC/Drive) .
4. Press Paste to restore system.

Step 4 : Restore old laser compensation setting.

1. Press Recall key to previous menu level .

2. Set the access level by press Set password and input
password “SUNRISE”.
3. Press Machine data and press Axis MD , set X/Y/Z axis
MD32700 ENC_COMP_ENABLE[0]=0.
4. Press Recall key to previous menu level , press Start-up files .
5. Press Customer CF card ,select the complete_eec.ini and
press Copy .
6. Press 802D data .
7. Select Data .
8. Press Paste to restore machine settings.
9. Press Recall key to previous menu level , press Machine data
and press Axis MD , set X/Y/Z axis MD32700
ENC_COMP_ENABLE[0]=1.
10. Press Recall key to previous menu level ,set the access level
by press Set password and input password “CUSTOMER”.
