Course Title : Teaching Strategies and Instrumentation in teaching Science

Course Code : SC_01

Course Credit : 3 units

Pre-Requisite : General Science, Biological Science, Ecology, Physical Science, Inorganic Chemistry

Course Description : This course encompasses the technological, pedagogical and content knowledge (TPCK) that a pre-service science teacher
should possess in teaching science subjects in elementary grades. This subject is composed of lecture-discussion, socratic
questioning and focus group discussion to discuss the content knowledge in terms of teaching sciences. To improve the
teaching skills of the pre-service teachers, demonstration teaching is required to perform by the class in which also integration
of technology in visual aids, classroom delivery and assessment can be observed.
