RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF SMITH JAMES S. CASTRO AS SANGGUNIANG

KABATAAN SECRETARY OF ARZADON, SAN MANUEL, PANGASINAN.

WHEREAS, Section 13 (f) of Republic Act 10742 otherwise known as “An Act Establishing Reforms in the
Sangguniang Kabataan Creating Enabling Mechanisms for Meaningful Youth Participation in Nation-
Building, and for other Purposes” an appointment of a Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary is necessary;

WHEREAS,Section 14 of RA 10742 states that “Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary. – The Sangguniang

Kabataan secretary shall:

(a) Keep all the records of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, including the list of its qualified members, youth
policies, studies, research and registry of youth and youth-serving organizations in the barangay, if any;

(b) Prepare and keep all the minutes of all assemblies of the Katipunan ng Kabataan and of all the
meetings of the Sangguniang Kabataan;

(c) Cause the posting, in the barangay bulletin board and in at least three (3) conspicuous places within
the jurisdiction of the barangay, and if possible including the use of traditional and non-traditional
media, and make available for any person with legal purpose, all resolutions approved by the
Sangguniang Kabataan, the annual and end-of-term reports of the programs and projects implemented
by the Sangguniang Kabataan, the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan and Annual
Barangay Youth Investment Program and the dissemination of the same to concerned offices,
institutions and individuals; and

(d) Perform such other duties and discharge such other functions as the Sangguniang Kabataan
chairperson may prescribe or direct.

WHEREAS,the Sangguniang Kabataan secretary require knowledge, responsibility and most

especially utmost dedication, a capable and deserving individual be chosen to perform these tasks;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Chairman Mark Francis M. Secretario duly seconded by SK

Kgd. Kevin Joshua A. Acosta to appoint Smith James S. Castro as Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary of
Barangay Arzadon, San Manuel, Pangasinan;
 RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, to concur the appointment of Smith James S. Castro as
Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary of Arzadon, San Manuel, Pangasinan;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the Punong
Barangay, Local Youth Development Officer (LYDO), Municipal Local Government Operations Officer
(DILG) and other concerned agencies for their information.
