LA LEYENDA DE AYAYMAMA

Cuenta la leyenda que un señor tenía 2 hijos, y su esposa no soportaba a sus

hijos. Un día la señora lo dijo a su esposo que abandonara a sus hijos, y lo hizo
caso.

espérenme aquí ya regreso:

comido las aves.

Los niños lloraron no sabían a donde ir. Amaneció y los animales salvajes
pasaban por sus lado y no los hacían nada, los niños vagaban por los bosques
encantados, se les hizo de noche y sin darse cuenta durmieron junto a una ave,
al pasar el tiempo, ellos se hicieron aves grandes volaron donde era su casa y
cantaban muy triste diciendo: AYAYMAMA que significa porque nos dejaste
mamá.

Su padre sospechó que eran ellos y se arrepintió diciendo: vengan hijos míos,
las aves volaron al bosque y su padre no supo dónde estaban.
