Applications are invited for filling up of following posts purely on Contractual basis from the eligible candidates. The renewal of contract would depend on
annual performance appraisal.

R-2 Project Consultant Education: Ph. D. in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by
One (1) Post (Category-Gen.) the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with 3 years research / work experience in
Rs. 15,600/- per month (fixed). a reputed institution.
Or
Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Tech. / Discipline as relevant to the
laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with 6 years
research / work experience in a reputed institution.
R-3 Scientific Officer Education: M. Sc 1st Class in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws being
One (1) Post (Category-Gen.) administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
Rs. 15,600/- per month (fixed).

R-4 Asstt. Law Officer Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

One (1) Post (Category-Gen.) Work Experience: At least five years experience as an Advocate.
Rs. 12,090/- per month (fixed).
R-5 Jr. Scientific Officer Education: M. Sc Degree in 1st Class in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws
Two (2) Posts (Category-Gen.) being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with a Bachelor’s
Rs. 12,090/- per month (fixed). Degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university / institution as a regular
student.
R-6 Jr. Environmental Engineer Education: 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil,
Seven (7) Posts (Category-Gen. = 3, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant
Gen. Ex-Ser. Man=1, Gen. Antodaya/ BPL=1, to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
OBC=1, SC-1 of H.P.) Rs. 10,790/- per month (fixed).
R-7 Jr. Scientific Assistant Education: 1st Class M. Sc. Degree in Environmental Science / Chemistry/ Micro-
One (1) Post (Category-Gen.) Biology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university /
Rs. 10,790/- per month (fixed). institution as a regular student.
R-8 Jr. Accountant Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university/ institution
One (1) Post (Category-OBC of H.P.) and should have knowledge of Computer operations with at least one year Computer
Rs. 8,370/- per month (fixed). Training Certificate from a recognized / reputed institution.

In addition to above the applications are also invited for filling up of following posts purely on Contractual basis in the Himachal Pradesh State Pollution
Control Board under the Sawda Kuddu Hydro Electric Power Project and Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi funded scheme “National Air Quality
Monitoring Programme” (NAMP) respectively from the eligible candidates. The renewal of contract would depend on annual performance appraisal.

Two (2) Posts Biology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university /
Rs. 10,000/- per month (fixed). institution as a regular student.

(B) Desirable Qualification: It is expected from the candidates to have knowledge of local dialect, manners and customs and suitability for working in the
peculiar conditions in Himachal Pradesh.
(C) Age: Age limit for above posts shall be between 18 to 45 years.
(D) The engagement would be purely on contractual basis on year to year basis and may further be extended subject to yearly renewal which would be based
upon the performance assessment/review of the candidate. The selected candidates would be required to give an affidavit stating that he/she shall have no
claim for absorption in the H.P. State Pollution Control Board or claim a regular pay scale of the State Government.
(E) Selection for appointment to the post in the case of Contract appointment will be made on the basis of written test & viva voce.
(F) General Conditions: The H. P. State Pollution Control Board reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the written test/
interview, if considered necessary, on the basis of qualification and experience as prescribed in the advertisement by way of screening of applications.
Those candidates, who do not fulfill the qualification at the closing / last date for submission of applications, need not apply. The date of interview shall
be intimated separately to all eligible candidates.
The decision of the Chairman, H.P. State Pollution Control Board shall be final and binding in all the matters concerning this recruitment.

copies of the certificates/ testimonials in respect of qualification, age and experience should be attached with the application and addressed to the
