Scenerio: You are a scientist on a field expedition, and you discover a new animal.
You decide to study it over the course of a few weeks. Your science notesbook is filled
with drawings, data, observations, and questions about this new animal. Compile your
information into a project to present to your teacher and classmates to introduce your
new animal.
Guidelines:
• Your project must be completed on a poster board. Be prepared to present your
created animal to the class.
Your project MUST include:
1. A diagram of the animal you discovered (your
created animal, not an already discovered animal).
Here is an example of what your diagram should look
like. Label the diagram in detail.

2. A chart describing your animal’s behavioral

adaptations. Please explain each adaptation in detail.
3. A chart describing your animal’s structural adaptations. Please explain each
adaptation in detail.
4. A description and an illustration of your animal’s habitat.
5. A description and illustrations of animals that act as predators to your animal.
6. A description and illustrations of animals that act as prey to your animal.
7. You will be graded on how your project looks when completed. Please make sure
that it is very detailed, creative, colorful, neat, and easy to read.
