Associated Learning Standard(s): The resource may be generally applicable, if so, simply state that. List any ISTE-S standards that
seem to naturally align with the selected resource.

1c. Students use technology to seek feedback that informs and improves their practice and to demonstrate their learning in a
variety of ways.

6c. Students communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively by creating or using a variety of digital objects such as
visualizations, models or simulations.

6d. Students publish or present content that customizes the message and medium for their intended audiences.

7a. Students use digital tools to connect with learners from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, engaging with them in ways
that broaden mutual understanding and learning.

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

This application captures the computer screen, computer sound, voice from microphone, and web cam. You can choose what you
want to capture and what area of the screen to capture. It does take some time to learn all the features, but the basic set-up
should be easy for a 10th grade level.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PRESENTATION

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote students’ presentation/speaking/communication skills?

You could integrate this by having student present PowerPoints in video format. They would learn skills valuable in the work place
and practice their presentation voice. They would also get used to the sound of their voice on video.

I just used this software to present a PowerPoint and uploaded it here: https://youtu.be/omvMBn02Nhg

I noticed a couple of things that should be avoided. The two sound tracks can interfere with each other and if the microphone is
active when you click pause on the keyboard it is super loud.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
• Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?

I give this a 3

This is a great way to allow student to hear themselves and practice their presenting skills with. It would be very
expensive to use any other software to perform the same task.
