COMPETENCE 1 AND ENGLISH BASIC COMPETENCE 2

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE RESEARCH

Many lesson is before semester that wehad been learn before is and this semester (6), we
are studying about analysis it’s talk about an analysis differientiate between one thing and
other. So, because of that., the writter wants to full fill an assigment from our lecture to
analysis about 2 lesson that we have been followed before it is as our last assigment to
get the good value from our lecture especially in this subject constrastive analysis .

The writter choose to analysis this subject, namely english basic competence i and EBC 2
we hope this written can give a benefit thing for the reader.

1.2 Identification of the problem

There are the differientate at matery in EbC 1 also ebc 2, the lecture that teach two
subject to us also having differientate style and about the topic on the book also having
differences to need disccused by the writter.

1.3The problem of study

Are there the differences between subject EBC 1 and EBC 2 and what are function of
each subjects?

1.4The Scope of the study

The writter giving limitation to discuss about the differences of the materi and the way of
the lecturer to teach this subject between EBC1 and EBC 2

1.5 The purpose of the study

The purpose of the writter on this study is to know the different of subject EBC 1
between EBC 2 and also the benefit of the subject.
II. REFIEW AND LITERATURE

English basic competences 1 is a subject that we have been followed in semester 1 on


2015 group A and our lecture who teach the subject is our lovely lecture , is Bloner
Sinurat. English basic competence 2 is a subject that we have been followed in semester 2
also in group A with our lovely lecturer mam Asima Rohana Sinaga. Both of the teacher
has a strategy technique to teach us easily. English basic competences generally is the
most and the wide past of studying english. This subject especially give the first also
second semester, because both of them are the important thing to know english well the 2
subject is the basic and the young past to study english. And in this semester 6 we dass a
subject namely talk about finding some differences and similarities between language
which is this 2 subject is part of the function of CA above.
lll .RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research metodology is thestrategy used to collect and analyze the data. In this
chapter, the method of research specifics to answer and to discuss the scope of this study.
It explains to the technique of collecting data and date analysis . The way to collect down
this research is collecting books us to EBC 1 and EBC 2 and the way to analyze the data
is by the different of subject between EBC 1 and EBC 2, which analyze many thing as
our experience before.

3.1 Data collection method

We are talking about our experience before when studied EBC 1 and EBC 2 we discussed
and see our book that we used for the subject in last time

Content analysis method was applied in this research


IV. DATA ANALYSIS

Based on research methodology chapter, we have results of our analyzed. In this


chapter we will explain the data analysis that written about the differentiate between
subject EBC 1 and ABC 2 as firstly we know, EBC 1 learned by sir bloner sinurat. The
has the right method to teach us, to make us know the lesson easily this subject has book
for the student as our guider and also our hand book.the cover of book EBC 1 is green
and price of the book has good written and full of exercise to make us clever and full of
home work every meeting. We are very happy when studying EBC 1, sir bloner teach us
patiently and always give motivation to us in the begining class. Have 2 note book, one
for our exercise and one for writting the matery from hi. The explain all of the lesson
clearly and we love so much when hear sir bloner speaking english in britis style, he likes
a tourist from british.

In EBC 1 we focus to study about tenses and the way to use the tenses on a text. We
always do our task individually and i think it’s make us study hard to pass the lesson.
Thanksful to god, we can pass the lesson well and get good value from him. While in
EBC 2, we are studying this subject with mam asima. Mam asima also good lecture. She
can receive our weakness when learning with her. We also have hanbook for this subject
around rp 40.000 nut the book of EBC 2 is longer then EBC 2 AND THE BOOK OF ebc
2 has 11 chapter. Mam asima also has right technique, to teach the subject. We do
exercise with our partner or we have group disscussion in every chapter. The group make
me easier to share about the difficulties of the lesson .

EBC 2 in semester two discuss about the activity it’s far different with EBC 1 in EBC 2 is
more difficult than EBC 1, according to me but when we get EBC 1 WELL, SO IN ebc2
easily we can pass all of the lesson.
VII.CONCLUSION

Based on the explanation above, we have conclusion that between subject EBC 1 and
EBC 2 has differiences and also similarities, this subject is the basic of English. Our
lecturer has own method to teach us easily and clever.
