I understand that words are nothing but pebbles in front of a grand image, but sometimes they have
power to shape future.

I am a person with experience, a person you can depend upon, a person that will surely take the
finance club at a different level.

Hello everyone, I, Vedantam Gupta, stand in front of you seeking your support for the post of
Finance Club Coordinator.

So, quickly I would take you through the events that I have proposed as part of my manifesto for the
academic year 2018-19.

Manifesto

1. Anubhav is an Entrepreneurship Summit in which we will invite entrepreneurs to share their

experiences specifically focused towards the financial constraints they faced and how they
tackled them.
2. Make your own Start-up (50 Ka Funda) - This will be a collaborative effort wherein we can
bring all the clubs in JGBS. The teams would be required to start a virtual company using the
funds provided to them.
3. Finance Conclave- A call to the financial experts from the corporate world who will share
their viewpoints on the challenges and opportunities standing in front of the world
economy.
4. Dalal Street Survivor- A virtual trading event. Create your portfolio and the investor with
highest returns from the portfolio in a given time takes away the prize.
5. Finance Newsletter (Investor Insight) will cover recent financial world’s happening, news
about stock market regarding upcoming IPO’s, Buybacks, etc.
6. Inter college Case Study Competition- This will be an inter- college event in which the
participating teams will be asked to come up with analysis to cases.

With this, I would like to say that:

I am ready to step into this position with all your support and motivation.

I’m not going to go into stating empty promises, but rather initiatives that I believe need to be
addressed.

I believe that the most important ideas and initiatives that student body addresses are the ones that
come from the most important component:
