Brief Career History (Since 2010 till now)

Involved in In-Service Inspection (Plant Inspector) at UGDC (United Gas Derivatives


Company) (NGL – Plant). Before I worked as Plant inspector at Qatar Petrochemical
Company (QAPCO - Qatar) (Petrochemical – Plant) since 2016 to 2017 and Amerya
Petroleum Refinery Company (APRCO) (Refinery - Plant) since 2010 to 7/2016. I have been
involved in In-Service inspection, Repair, Evaluation, NDE and All Testing Activities (According to
API & ASME Codes) on (Vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers, Tanks, Pipe Line, Piping, Heaters,
Boilers, Relieve Valves and etc…) according to Inspection Plan. In Addition, I am Responsible For
Materials Receipt and inspection such as (Welding Fittings, Valves, Flanges, Tubes, Pipes and
etc..) according to All material Codes and Follow all Inspection Duties for New Construction of
Static Equipment.

Job responsibilities included the following:

 Follow up all activities related to Inspections, Monitoring, Anomalies follow up … etc.


 Carry out inspection activities according to API requirements, and as per the pre-set
plans, ad-hoc, inspection requests and/or work orders through normal operations and
shutdowns/turnarounds.
 Supervise inspection activities carried out by others (NDT inspectors, contractors …
etc.) to ensure compliance with the inspection plans and RBI requirements.
 Participate in the preparation of inspection plans, work packs and written schemes for
inspections & examinations.
 Create inspection reports and assessment through Galiom software including
inspection data/results and attached with design documents as P&ID, ISO, recent
photos … etc.
 Create Anomaly reports with technical assessment against the design/code
requirements and set the detailed recommendations and work scopes for corrective
actions.
 Update the inspection plans and other Integrity Management documents based on
the inspection results/assessment.
 Review inspection reports received by others to ensure the accuracy of the
data/results, and carry out the technical assessment to define the fitness for service
and identify anomalies (if found).
 Review work scopes and procedures for repair of anomalies to ensure matching with
the design/code requirements and recommendations set in the reports.
 Follow up advanced inspection techniques/devices and check its suitability and
applicability to UGDC assets to gather more data and for best monitoring of the
probable damage mechanisms.
 Participate in failure investigations and provide the required data/information that
seems important to reach the root causes of the failure/damage.
 Follow up inspection activities in site that carried out by others to ensure
compatibility with the inspection procedures/documents and adherence to the work
permits and HSE requirements.
 Create work permits as per UGDC – HSE policy with risk assessments and other
related documents.
