Modern buildings and structures are begining to look similar and less unique.

What
are the reasons for this trend? Do you think this is a negative or positive
development?

It is true that the layouts and designs of contemporary buildings are more similar
instead of unique compare to those in the past. There are several reasons for this
phenomenon, and I believe that it can benefit individuals and our society as a whole.

There are a variety of reasons why modern constructions have very close looking.
Firstly, building houses has become an well-developed business and is conducted by
several large construction and real estate companies. As those companies often use
the same designers and techniques, it is not surprise that their end products
resembled to each other. Secondly, modern people have clear purpose when they
purchase a property, for example, for residence or business use. As a result, all
buildings must be constructed to have certain functions and features. This is the
another reason why that constructions in modern cities tend to be look close.

In my opinion, this trend has many merits. For one, it could benefit individuals. As
houses nowadays are massive produced instead of personal and unique designed,
the cost of property become economic and affortable by average families. Moreover,
it would be easier for the government to set up regulation on some important issues
such as fire safety. This will make our society a safer place to live.

In conclusion, the similarity of the appearance of modern constructions is due to the

industralized and people's life style. It is positive for both citizens and governments.
