To whom this may concern:

I am writing in response to an announcement posted on the Bon Secours Mary Immaculate

Hospital employment opportunities web site for a position on the Labor and Delivery unit. As
you can see from my resume, I will graduate in December 2018 from Shenandoah University
School of Nursing.

Through my clinical rotations, I have had the opportunity to work in several settings, including
maternal health, medical-surgical, critical pediatrics, and behavioral health. My experiences
enabled me to develop strong skills that prepare me well for the challenges of nursing. I plan to
complete my precpetorship/capstone rotation in the Mother/Baby unit at Berkeley Medical
Center in the fall, and am confident that I will continue to develop as a nurse; particularly as I
provide care to a diverse patient population.

I am a dedicated upcoming BSN graduate with compassion and understanding of patient needs,
seeking to use earned skills and knowledge in a nursing role. Excellent interpersonal skills, an
enthusiastic worker with a sense of purpose, and a requisite skill-set to perform under pressure. I
am seeking to join your team of doctors and nurses on the Labor and Delivery Unit.

I am very interested in beginning my nursing career at Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital
and believe that my skills and experience prepare me well. I look forward to meeting you, and
please do not hesitate to contact me at 703-505-9599.

Sincerely,

Michelle Putze
