GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The benefits of an automatic machine

The test cycle with closed loop digital feedback is automatically performed by
simply pressing the start button. The load-time graph and the actual load rate
are displayed in real time during the test. Correct test execution according the
selected Standard, is continuously and automatically controlled.

Automatic accurate load rate control

The International Standards specify that during the test the load rate must be
constant within a small allowable range (typically 10% of the preset value). An
accurate and constant load rate application without large fluctuations not only
guarantees testing to Standards but also allows the test to be performed by
operators without influencing the test results.

Energy saving test system

The new Pilot 4 machine series make use of the Energy Saving technology that
allows -due to a powerful DC motor- an accurate oil flow control resulting in no
oil dispersion, silent operation, cold oil temperature and low energy consumption
(save over 30% compared to traditional systems), ensuring in the meantime the
correct load rate according to the Standards.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
FRAME
These machines, featuring a very rigid two column frame, have been designed for the testing
of the cement prism either in compression or in flexure. The frames of the series 65-L11XX
are already fitted with EN compression plates plus flexural jig.
The frames of the series 65-L12XX and 65-L13XX are fitted with round compression platens
and have to be completed, if needed, with the suitable compression and/or flexural devices
(see accessories).

MACHINE ACCURACY
The EN 196-1 prescribes an accuracy of ± 1.0% (Class A) starting from 20% of the full range.
All our models, fitted with pressure transducers, assure this requirement starting from 10% of
the 300 kN scale and approx. 12.5% of the 15 kN scale, while models fitted with load cells
(see code 65-L124x/LC and 65-L134x/LC) assure Class 1 from 3 kN (compression range)
and 0.5 kN (flexural or compression range in the double chamber machines). See accessories:
