Making the Time

Many of the FCC Ladies participated in another
weekend retreat this year. They had studies, ate,
played and prayed. May they be empowered to
accomplish the things the Lord showed them in their
time away.
Several guys (and a gal) got together to extend the
cement pad for the new HVAC units. The work went
quickly and gave each a chance to contribute in a
hands-on way.
We are in our October Month of Prayer emphasis
and you are invited to lift up your fellow FCCers’
needs. Pray the Lord would draw near to them as they
draw near to Him. Ask that God would protect and
direct our church family, especially in a month where
many people focus more on occult and horror than
truth and peace.

One Another-ing
Fairs are completing, sports are in full swing, bands are marching,
and kids are needing breaks from school work - we must be in Fall.
Unless we are deliberate, the weeks then months will slip by simply
responding to the incessant demands on our time. We invite you to
prioritize time “one another-ing”. Make time to love one another,
pray for one another, eat with one another, talk with one another,
and simply “be” with one another
And let us not give up meeting together. Some are in the habit of
doing this. Instead, let us encourage one another with words of
hope. Let us do this even more as you see Christ’s return
approaching. (NIRV)
