JUSTICE ON WHEELS

Accessibility to a JUSTICE ON WHEELS by the poor and no power in justice is not in the
Philippines only but a worldwide problem, despite of strategies that have been discussed and
employed to address it. To give knowledge and access to justice by the poor a major thrust of the
court, to emphasize the justice must to spread and gave it to right person and right order to
Action Program for Judicial Reform was developed, and in the area of accessibility to justice,
one of this recommendations proposed was the creation of special courts for the poor and
disadvantaged for individual or group of people in to our society.

The justice on wheels project and for this purpose created, and aims to bring justice closer to the
poor by providing on-the-spot, fast and free dispute resolution services adjudication, mediation
and conciliation. The court then directed the committee to prepare forthwith a design of the
vehicle that shall serve as the Justice on Wheels, and to formulate the rules governing the
implementation of the project. The main purpose was to hear cases involving juveniles who
wanted to plead guilty, or who wanted to be diverted or released on recognize, more importantly,
the court or mobile court prioritized the hearing of cases of those who have been in detention for
more than the maximum penalty for their particular cases.

The description of this project to make easily gave knowledge and advice according to different
types of rights as a citizen of our society, this is a kind of idea is most likely a solution to feel the
essence of having justice in our country because using a bus is travelling the country literally
delivering accessible justice to the local communities. The disputants are offered not
only facilities but also can benefit from the professional services of judges, prosecutors,
mediators, clerks and public lawyers, even process server and a court room guard travel with the
bus.

For making this project to fulfilled, this kind of project need a fund cost P150 000 to buy a bus,
but the question is where can we find of exact fund for our project which is justice on wheels to
help a poor person and a person thus not have a knowledge about to his own rights. We suggest
to having a fund to this project, from government because the tax must return to us as we part of
society.
