Class, as you can remember, we had a
spelling activity earlier. Those spelled words
were the terms that we could encounter in
the discussion. But class, in order to
discover the definitions of each word. I need
first 5 volunteers.

So, here’s my instruction. I have here five


definitions of the words you have spelled
earlier. Those five volunteers will match
these definitions to the corresponding word.

 Democrat- a person who believes in

 Republican- a person who favors a
form of government having elected
representatives.
 Wage- an amount of money that a
worker is paid based on the number
of hours, days, etc. that is worked.
 Deficit- a problem that causes a
decrease in some ability.
 Coalition- the action or process of
joining together with another or
others for a common purpose.

speech, regarding the topic for today. Kindly

on, we will have fun!

Class, I want you to divide yourselves into
two. So, I have here two rolled papers. Each
paper stands for either an affirmative or a
negative. Now, I need a volunteer for each
group to have draw lots.
