Be able to explain the silent period.

Be able to read the phonetic diagram
Be able to incorporate technology in their works.

Warm-up and Objective Discussion


Recall the previous lesson
Write a reading text on the board or open a reading text in a book
Write a list of hard words to pronounce on the board.
Initiate sentences on these words
Explain that students will learn the silent period.
Explain students that they will learn strategies that make speaking and pronunciation hard and
easy
Explain to students that they will learn the phonetic diagram
Explain to students that they will use technology in their listening, speaking and
pronunciation works

Show to students one to three example of listening, speaking and prounouciation


Explain the effect of the silent period
Demonstrate to students elements that make pronunciation hard and easy
Display accent, sound, stress, intonation, elision, reduction, on the board.
Display the phonetic diagram.
Ask students questions on words that end with the same ending
Show students how to incorporate their works in their technologies.
Show to students example of essay or dialogue in speaking
