BRINGING BACK VIRGINITY:

is a taboo or passionate?

Virginity for some women in some parts of the world is still a status that must be
maintained before they enter the marriage stage. Culture and culture binding with
various social and mental threats requires that women do anything for the sake of a
virginity. In other parts of the world, especially in modern countries, virginity is not a
cult and must be maintained. For them virginity is just a sign that these women have
not undergone sexual experience.

Indonesia and some neighboring countries are known countries that have a very
thick Eastern custom so that a virginity has a meaning and value is very high. Even
applying for a marriage or knowing marriage to a virgin soldier is a major
requirement without considering the loss of virginity due to what. The fact is that not
every baby girl is born has a hymen. Hymen form is very varied and not always
hymen tear followed by bleeding.

It is this issue that raises the interest to perform hymen restoration operations to
increase late. Over the past decade more than 200 women have come to restore
hymen for various reasons. And with hidden conceal they do it because tat this event
is considered taboo. Recent developments of many women interest in rejuvenating
funds or restoration of vagina and hymen just to give birthday present for marriage
for husband, or when they remarried.

The principle of hymenoplasty is ethically controversial and the technique is anecdotal.

This procedure should be scientifically studied before it is recommended for routine
clinical use. Surgeons should have open mind while critically evaluating the usefulness
of hymenoplasty. A task force involving surgeons, lawyers, social activists, champions
of human-rights and religious leaders is essential to solve the problems surrounding
this unusual procedure
