The diagram illustrates a wind turbine, and ideal locations which it can be placed and which have effect

on amount of electricity that is produced.

The wind turbine consists of three blades which are made of fiberglass or wood, a wind sensor that gets
wind’s direction and speed, a generator, and also a steel tower. These all together are controlled by a
computer room.

The process starts when wind sensor gets wind’s direction and speed then sends to computer room,
following this blades are adjusted to information which were analyzed in computer room. When the
blades are turned by wind, electricity is produced by generator which is located on top of the steal
tower.

There are three possible ideas about the places which turbine can be located: in water, on hill, or on
mount. In comparison to water and hill, mount is the most suitable location since we have high speed
wind there so more electricity can be generated. In addition we will have less spoiled landscape.

In general, producing electricity by using wind turbine is an efficient way of harnessing renewable
energy, because of two reasons, the first reason is, turbine is made of high quality materials like
fiberglass and steel. Second reason is, it can be placed in different places.
