JMB Music Online Ordering System

INTRODUCTION
Music brings joy to everyone, There are many kinds of music genre. OPM our very own genre

which includes original musics produced and sang by the Filipinos. There are R&B which is sang

by Black Americans this is also have a slow beat. There are many kinds of music that make people

dance, sing, cry etc.

Everybody knows that Filipinos are into music, so most of the people use musical instruments

such as guitar, ukulele, organ, bass and etc. To use when there is as free time. Therefore the

researchers choose to introduce this music instrument store to help them.

JMB music can sell any kinds of musical instruments, musical instruments makes sounds

once humans moved from making sounds with their bodies, for example by clapping. We all know

people inclined to music so very natural to us.

Online Ordering System is a type of sale online resources, to facilitate the search for their

purchases. Many people are obsessed buying online because there are people who do not want to go

out.

Statement of the Problem

At this generation a business is not just selling, it is a competition between one store and a many

one. Therefore in order to gain more costumers a store owner must make a step to make a store that

anybody can reach out easily. (“How can the system help JMB Music to boost their popularity?”)

People now a days has a money to buy but too lazy visit a Mall. People also worry going out

because of traffic and any stressor that a person may encounter going, during and after Mall. (“How can a

customer contact the JMB Music without visiting the shop?”)

A customer has a very short patience specially when searching for what he/she really like. It may

cause a defect for a shop not having what a customer searches for. (“How can the system help the

customer find the right instrument they are looking for?”

Objective of the Study

The objective of this study was to develop a website entitled JMB Music Online Ordering

System.

Specifically, aims to:

• Boost the popularity of JMB Music

• Easily contact their customer without visiting the shop.

• Help the customer to find the right instrument they need in a right price.

Significance of the Study

The researchers believes that this study will benefit the following:

Musicians. The result will provide the musicians with some knowledge on online instrument shops. It

will give the musicians realization that ordering online is more easy or accessible than purchasing on

physical stores.

Walk-in Customers. Through this study walk-in customers will able to understand and appreciate the

online shop rather than visiting on Physical shops.

JMB Shop. The given data would guide the JMB Shop to promote or advertise their products through

online.

Community. Through this study the people from around the community will have a knowledge on how

to buy at instrument shops through online and it will give a realization to them that buying or ordering

online is the easiest and hassle-free.

Researchers. Through the given data it would guide the researchers to know that buying in online selling

shop is easier and effective than buying in an actual shop. And it will help the researchers to promote the

products in an accessible way through online.

Time and Places of the Study

The study was conducted in the AMA COLLEGE CAVITE, SY 2018-2019. Gathering of

information was done last October 4 2018 and the finalizing of data and final interview was done last

October 21 2018 all the data that will be using by the researcher will be gathered from the JMB Music

shop and through the use of the internet.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

The focus of this study is to make an ordering system in JMB Music Shop in order for customers

to buy and look at the instruments that the shop is selling through internet. Customers can buy

instruments without visiting the branch of the shop. It will boost their popularity and it is a big help for

customers who wants to buy an instrument without going outside their homes. The researchers will create

a system that will allow customers to look for instruments customers are looking for and buy the

instruments that customers want to buy online.

A. BUSINESS
According to Rodgers 2002, The immense popularity of the internet in recent years has

been fuelled largely by the prospect of performing business online. With the rapid global growth

in electronic commerce, businesses are attempting to gain a competitive advantage by using e-

commerce to interact with customers. The e-commerce is defined as buying and selling of

product service or information through computer networks mainly the internet and people

immediately think of consumer retail purchases from companies such as Amazon . E-commerce

is exponentially increasing the availability of information, giving customers access to more

knowledge, of better quality and faster than before. Technological advancement led an explosive

development in electronic commerce, the causes of that are the internet end the World Wide Web

hich are making electronic commerce much more accessible. Internet e-commerce includes

electronic trading of physical goods and of intangibles such as information. This encompasses all

the trading steps such as online marketing, ordering, payment and support for delivery.

Advantages of Online Businesses

According to Brigita Go (2012), running an online business is much better than opening a

store. Selling online is indeed one of the great ways to make profits online. In fact, it is also a

great way to widen your target market and grow your business fast as well. Carolyn Anderson

(2012) stated that "by putting your business online, you are also widening your reach

worldwide". It is important to check out some online selling tips that may help make selling

successful.

Foreign Trade Using E-commerce

With the development of Internet, e-commerce becomes a common practice in foreign

trade and penetrates into every aspect of international trade. Xia (2006) stated that e-commerce

application in foreign trade enterprise are analyzed, the potential application that e-commerce is
superior to traditional trade is expounded, active reactions are suggested be taken, the promotive

function of e-commerce application should be exerted by government, the enhancement of e-

commerce competence, the perfection of the service role as intermediary platform, the study of

joint effort of all parties for a promising e-commerce application environment.

Understanding Users’ Online Privacy Expectations

According to Ashwini Rao ( 2016 ) The Internet has become an integral part of our lives, but it

has come at a cost. The Internet has revolutionized and improved the way we live through services such

as email, social networking and search that enable us to communicate, socialize and access information in

novel ways. However, one of the important challenges today is addressing user privacy concerns that

arise as users interact with online services. Users have expectations regarding data practices of online

services, for example, types of data collected on websites, purposes for which websites share data and

whether websites allow users to delete personal data. However, services may engage in data practices that

are misaligned with user expectations. Mismatches between user expectations and data practices may

result in concerns regarding violation of users’ online privacy.

Materials and Methods

This chapter discusses the essential requirements that the system needs to perform and the

materials and methods that the researchers used. The methods were shown and discussed in this chapter

on how the researchers plan, analyse, design and develop the system.

Materials

On the going development of the study the researcher used laptops such as acer Aspire with the

specification of Intel® Celeron® CPU N2920, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor windows 8.1

Single Language and Lenovo Ideapad 310 with sa specification of Intel Core i5 7th Gen, 64-bit operating

system, Windows 10.

Throughout the system the researchers used the following material for the development of the

study, the codes are all written in HTML, Javascript and Css.
In able to browse the website the researchers suggested to use the Google Chrome, Mozilla

Firefox and etc. to view the website they’ve developed.

Methods

The researchers used this software development methodology Rapid Application Process because

it enables them to design and code every requirements that the organization needs before implementing

the system.

Figure 2.1 Rapid Application Development

Kikama(2015)

Rapid Application Development(RAD) is a form of Agile software development methodology.

Unlike Waterfall methods, RAD emphasizes working software and user feedback over strict planning and

requirements recording.

In other words, RAD is less talk, more action, and testing. Lots and lots of testing.

Requirements Planning Phase. This phase is equivalent to a project scoping meeting. Although

the planning phase is condensed compared to other project management methodologies, this is a critical

step for the ultimate success of the project.

During this stage, developers, clients (software users), and team members communicate to

determine the goals and expectations for the project as well as current and potential issues that would

need to be addressed during the build.

User Design Phase. This method gives developers the opportunity to tweak the model as they go

until they reach a satisfactory design.

Both the software developers and the clients learn from the experience to make sure there is no

potential for something to slip through the cracks.

Construction Phase. This phase takes the prototypes and beta systems from the design phase and

converts them into the working model.

Because the majority of the problems and changes were addressed during the thorough iterative

design phase, developers can construct the final working model more quickly than they could by

following a traditional project management approach.

Cut Over. This is the implementation phase where the finished product goes to launch. It

includes data conversion, testing, and changeover to the new system, as well as user training.

All final changes are made while the coders and clients continue to look for bugs in the system.
