01 Technical Drawings

This project was about observing a commercial product and

producing technical drawings. While staying true to the basics of
industry standard drawings, I added elements like colorful back-
drops and photo inlays to make the drawings more engaging
and explanatory.

02 Infographics

This project consisted of a research element and a graphic design

element. My research topic was on the user satisfaction and over-
all efficiency of the campus shuttle system at Rhode Island School
of Design, RISD Rides. I compiled the data collected from the
research and created a series of comprehensive infographics
03 Hotel Furniture

For this project, each student chose a social entre-

preneurship (out of the ones introduced during
the course) to focus on and was to create some
sort of artifact or product for the entrepreneur-
ship. I chose “Liana Cane”, a sustainable furniture
company located in Guyana. The company mainly
focused on making cane (rattan) furniture but
wanted to expand to using more hardwood and
had also expressed an interest in the hospitality
furnishing market. Liana Cane’s designs were also
outdated in style and required too much manual
labor due to having excessive amounts woven
elements. I came up with a simple bedroom set
of furniture that kept with the natural theme of the
company’s previous designs while updating the
look to be more modern and timeless; making it
suitable for a hotel environment. I also reduced
the amount of weaving so that not as much human
labor is required but it can still act as an accent
point.

04 Ideation Cards

This project was on making a set of ideation cards that

could be used to help guide someone or a group of
people during a design project/process. To keep the
cards from being redundant after multiple uses and
also to make the experience more engaging, I made the
cards in a multi-use manner including a game-like way
of using the cards. Sticky note paper and a pen was also
provided with the cards in the packaging for conve-
nience and reusability.

style company in Korea. I created an instruction card for a book-
end product. The card is shipped out with each bookend as a part
of the product packaging composition.
