Prof. Dr. Stephen A. Macko Nitrogen, the element that is intimately associated with
essentially all processes on Earth, is the broad focus of
a new online, open access journal. The intention of this
publication is to offer a venue for research papers, reviews,
short notes, and communications that have as a nexus this
critical element.

Aims and Scope
Nitrogen is an international open access journal covering
the whole field of nitrogen research, but special emphasis is
placed on the nitrogen cycle. It provides an interdisciplinary
forum for research papers, short communications and
review papers to be presented. We encourage scientists
to publish their experimental and theoretical results
in as much detail as possible so that the results can be
reproduced. Therefore, there is no restriction on the length
of the papers.
