Hong Kong GCCS
Table I.

This appendix constitutes a complete code table for the 3,049 hanzi defined in
Hong Hong GCCS, as described in Chapter 3, Character Set Standards. The charac-
ters are printed using Monotype’s (MSung-Light) typeface design. Also
included is an additional set of 145 hanzi specified by Hong Kong’s Department of
Judiciary. Unlike the other code tables in this book, this code table is indexed by
hexadecimal Big Five values. This is because the Big Five character set and its
encoding does not, unfortunately, fit the usual 94×94 model.
