 Hospital and Unit Description:

It is in 2009 when the Renal Solutions Dialysis Center in Bustos, Bulacan was
constructed by the following persons: Dr. Elvin Lim; Dr. Robert Tugade as Chief
Executive Officer and Dra. Mara Baking- Tugade as Medical Director.

In 2010, Castro Maternity and General Hospital in Tibag, Baliwag, Bulacan was
established.

The following year, 2011, Dr. Yanga’s Hospital Hemodialysis center was then built in
Bocaue, Bulacan. Also in this year, the board adjudged that the dialysis centers will
be under the management of one Chief Executive Officer, yours truly, Dr. Robert
Tugade.

In year 2012, Marcelo Hospital Renal Center in Baliuag, Bulacan and Renal Lifecare
Dialysis Center located at Marcelo- Padilla Childrens’ and Medical Hospital were
established. It was also then decided to create and management committee which will
expedite the creation of a Central Office. This year also catered the formation of a
uniform Hemodialysis Training Program.
In 2016, the first Free Standing Hemodialysis Center of RSDC group was established,
The Good Shepherd Hospital Renal Center at National Road, Poblacion, Pulilan,
Bulacan.

The Renal Solutions Dialysis Center Company is composed of the best doctors in their
different field of expertise. Our group of Nephrologist were as follows; Dr. Genesere
Vino and Dr. Rocelia Gonzales, both from University of Santo Tomas, Dr. Marichel Pile
from National Kidney Transplant Institute and Dr. Mara B. Tugade, Head Nephrologist
also from the National Kidney Transplant Institute. Our team of Specialist were: Dr.
Raymond Pesebre, Cardiologist; Dr. Elvin Lim, Urologist; Dr. Mary Jane Gutierrez,
Endocrinologist; Dr. Pablito Mendoza, Anesthesiologist; Dr. Cynthia Marcelo,
Obstetrician and Gynecologist.

Today, the Renal Solutions Dialysis Center serves approximately 450 End Stage Renal
Patients in four district of the Upper and Middle part of Bulacan with the following
dialysis Centers: Rugay Hemodialysis Center with 18 machines, San Pascual Baylon

 Hemodialysis Center with 8 machines, Rommel Cruz Hemodialysis Center with 6
machines, Dr. Yanga’s Hemodialysis Center with 6 machines, Marcelo Padilla
Hemodialysis Center with 6 machines, Marcelo Hospital Renal Center with 3 machines,
Renal Solutions Dialysis Center with 12 machines, Castro Maternity and General
Hospital Hemodialysis Center with 5 machines and The Good Shepherd Hospital Renal
Center with 5 machines.

 Job Description:

• Create and implement care plans according to each patient’s condition

• Provide direct patient care by administering medication and IVs
• Take and record patients’ vitals on a regular basis
• Observe patients for signs of improvement or deterioration and report findings
to the nurse manager
• Educate patients and families about renal diseases and their management
procedures
• Provide patients with information on how to prepare for renal exams and
procedures
• Provide support in priming dialyzers and bloodlines and readying dialysis
equipment
• Ensure that dialysis equipment is in good working condition before a scheduled
procedure
• Assist patients in getting ready for a hemodialysis procedure
• Accompany patients to procedure rooms and ensure their comfort before and
during the procedure
• Assist in hooking patients up to dialysis machines and observe them for
discomfort or pain
• Evaluate patients’ reaction to dialysis procedures and make sure that each
observation is documented properly
• Ensure that patients’ vitals during dialysis procedures are observed constantly
• Place catheters and ensure that both permanent and temporary catheters are
cleaned properly
• Explain post treatment and home care activities that patients need to manage
• Respond to emergency situations during dialysis procedures
• Make sure that patients are carefully and safely transported back to their
rooms once a dialysis procedure has ended
