IV. PROCEDURES Conduct of the Pre-Test
Examination in Oral
Communication
A. MOTIVATION The students will be divided into
four groups. Each student in group
number 1 & 2 will be asked to write
statements which state a problem while
students in the second group will be asked
to write statements which state a solution.
The group number 3 & 4 on the other
hand, will be asked to write a statement
which states a source of a certain
phenomenon or event while group four
will be asked to jot down possible result of
a certain phenomenon or event. The
teacher will give students ample of time to
write the tasks being asked from them,
then afterwards, the teacher will randomly
pick papers from each paired group.

B. ACTIVITY After the first activity given, the


teacher at this juncture would be
asked students to go to their respective
group. The teacher will assign each
group a specific activity.
Group 1: Arrange set of
sentences according to the appropriate
order the events had happened.
Group 2: Students will have to
accomplish a venn diagram.
Group 3: The group will be given
a paragraph. They will be asked to
identify the statements which state the
cause and the effect in the paragraph.
Group 4: The group will be given
a paragraph which contains a problem
and a solution which they have to
identify. After Identifying, the
students will be asked to highlight the
problem and the solution through a
role play.
C. ABSTRACTION The students will be asked to present the
various tasked being assigned to them.
They will be asked to explain the answers
to their activity or task.
