INCREASE OF THE POPULATION IN BOLIVIA

The population in Bolivia is increasing more and more in the last decades. In general
around the world, the population increases every year, however, in our country has had a
particular difference. In the past the families used to be conformed of 6 or more members,
however these days the families are conformed to an average of 4 members per family. This
situation leaves us positive and negative aspects of the increase in the number of members in
each family that in fact has to do with the increase of the population in our country. Being the
family the nucleus of society it is very important to know all the aspects that refer to it.

One of the positive aspects of this situation is that although in the past the increase of the
population was not controlled, the families did not have many economic or labor problems
because in our country needed a greater number of workers for labor to build buildings ,
exploiting natural resources or growing food, for example, my grandmother told me that the work
in the field was never lacking and that in that way she could support her seven children and that
the money that my grandfather earned was to buy materials to build her Home and those people
who had studied did not need much experience to get a job with good remuneration. However,
this situation today is very different because having 6 or more children means having more
responsibility.

One of the negative aspects of the population increase in Bolivia is that many families live
in poverty, lack of employment and low wages are the consequence of the increase in population
and many families are not aware that their children are growing in the poverty because there are
no conditions for them to have a good quality of life, for example these days if there is work in the
city and the countryside but for those people without academic training they will not always find a
good remuneration and on the side for those people who have trained and are academically
trained there are few opportunities to get good jobs because the work requires a lot of
experience, an aspect that young graduates do not have. In Bolivia, the average age of first-time
parents is 21 years old, most of them already have a child and the economic conditions for that
age have certain difficulties.

I firmly believe that in these days to form a family you must plan in advance all the
circumstances and responsibilities that come to have. In fact, society shows more and more
examples of the economic problems that the increase in population brings. In other words, so that
the increase of the population is not a problem, it must be controlled and this will only have good
results
