Mechanics for Poster Making Contest

1. The Poster Making Contest is open to all Junior and Senior High School Students
of Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School.
2. The contestant should create a poster based on the theme: “Gurong Pilipino: Turo
mo, Kinabukasan ko”.
3. Any coloring materials is allowed for on-the-spot poster making contest. Teach
contestant will provide themselves one 1/8 sized illustration board (10 x 15) for the
contest.
4. All artworks must be done on-the-spot and must be completed within the allotted
time of one hour only.
5. All entries will be pre-numbered. Any form of identification of the contestant
(signature, names, grade and section) must not be placed on the face of the entered
art work.
6. Any entry that violates any of the rules and regulations as promulgated by the
organizers at any time may be disqualified outright.
7. All entries shall be judged by a Board of Judges. The decision of the Board of
Judges shall be final and irrevocable.
8. Contest day shall be on September 26, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Awarding of winners
shall be on October 5, 2018 on the School Quadrangle during the Program.

 Mechanics for Song Composition

In celebration of the World Teachers Day 2018 with the theme “Gurong Pilipino:
Turo mo, Kinabukasan ko ”., the NOTED Song Writing Contest is open to all junior
and senior high school student in Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High
School

Entries is participated collaboratively by six to ten students (6-10 students) .

However, only one prize will be awarded in case of collaborative composition.

Entries:
 Lyrics may be in English or Filipino
 The song lyrics and music content should be consistent with the theme of World
Teachers Day Celebration with the statement theme- “Gurong Pilipino: Turo mo,
Kinabukasan ko ”.,.’
 The song tune and lyrics must be affirmed as an original composition of the
composers.
 Any entry that will be proven to be not original shall be disqualified, and no
substitute entry may be allowed.
 Songs must not be longer that three (3) minutes; and maybe in any musical genres
as long as the message shall adhere to the given theme.
 It will be performed during the program on _________
 All entries shall be judged by a Board of Judges composed of experts in the field
music and education. The Board of Judges’ decision is considered final and
irrevocable. The winning entries shall be featured in one of the activities of the
World Teachers Day Celebration.
 Mechanics for Portrait Making
1. The Portrait Making Contest is open to all Junior and Senior High School Students
from Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School.

2. The theme for the portrait making contest will be any portrait of teachers or
faculty and staff of Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School.

3. All artworks must be originally drawn by students/participants

4. Any drawing materials allowed for the portrait making contest. The artwork can
be placed in any paper.

5. All artworks must be done and presented on September 28, 2018 to be judged.
The venue of submission will be on room 8.

6. All entries will be pre-numbered. Any form of identification of the contestant

(signature, names, grade and sedition) must not be placed on the face of the
entered art work.

7. Any entry that violates any of the rules and regulations as promulgated by the
organizers at any time may be disqualified outright.
