Once the application has been accepted then a 30% deposit will be made to
confirm your place.
A further 30% of the fees are due 2 months before the commencement of the
course. The remainder is due a month before.
The course is residential and students are expected to attend and stay at The
Lotus Pad Ibiza.
We have a limited amount of accommodation for 9 people in shared rooms.
We will release 5 further spaces should those fill up for people wanting to
attend but staying in other places. This is the responsibility of the attendee to
find a suitable place to stay. Preference is given to those staying onsite
initially.
Wendy Buttery will decide who is suitable to attend the course from
applications received.
If the applicant has not paid their fees in full before commencement of the
course then we reserve the right to cancel their place on the course.
Included
Qualification
Your 100 hours will be accredited once both modules have been completed. This can be
done over several years.
Refund Policy
Students are expected to attend all classes in order to compete the course
An essay will be given to be completed within 2 months of finishing the
course.
Should a student be not able to attend a class due to unforeseen
circumstances then they will be expected to re-sit that class at an alternative
time for an extra cost.
A minimum number is required for the course to go ahead. The Lotus Pad
reserves the right to cancel the course should the minimum number not be
met by April 25th 2019 for module 1 and September 19th for module 2. This is
at the discretion of the teacher.
In this case a full refund will be given to all parties.
Complaints Procedure
Complaints about the course should be made if possible during the course or shortly after.
Step 2 – A written complaint shortly after the course expressing what the attendee was
concerned about. This letter will be acknowledged within a week of receiving.
At the point of signing up to the course you will be asked to sign a Code of
Conduct in order to start your training. In order to maintain high standards it is
important you reach a certain minimum standard.
It is imperative this Code of Conduct is upheld on a continuous basis. This Code
of Conduct is a declaration of acceptable, ethical and professional behaviour.
1. To provide the public with access to safe and effective yoga teachers.
2. Teach only the appropriate asana, pranayama and meditation practice for
which I am certified
3. Acknowledge the limitations of my skills and scope of practice and where
appropriate, refer students to seek alternative instruction, advice,
treatment, or direction.
4. Respect the rights and privacy of all students.
5. Adnere to the traditional yoga principles as written in the yamas and
niyamas.
6. Avoid words and actions that constitute sexual harassment.
7. Avoid words or actions that are disrespectful of my fellow students and
teacher.
8. Uphold the integrity of my vocation by conducting myself in a professional
and conscientious manner.
Further conduct:
You will be asked at the beginning of the course to sign a further agreement
relating to professional courtesy, cleanliness and being mindful of others.
