1. In pursuance of the order made with effect from 1st March 1999 by the minister of labour under
section 48 of the labour relations Act, I on behalf of the Kenya union of Technical and vocational
education trainers (KUTVET) hereby request you to deduct from the wages of the employee listed on
the notice, being employee who has acknowledged membership of the Kenya union of Technical and
Vocational Education trainers the sum equivalent to 1.5% of basic pay as his/her current trade
union dues.
2. (a) To pay the total sums of deducted in any month not later than the 10th day of the date on which
such wages were paid, by CROSSED CHEQUES made payable into the account of Kenya union of
Technical and Vocational Education Trainers at Commercial Bank Kencom house Branch Account
No. 001118295632.
(b) To notify the Kenyan Union of Technical and Vocational Education Trainers in writing before the
end of each month of the amounts of any payment made to the account of Kenya union of Technical
and Vocational Education trainers at P.O.Box 7786-00200 GPO Nairobi, Kenya.

(c)To notify the registrar of trade Unions in writing before the end of each month of the amounts of
any payment made into the account of Kenya union of technical and Vocational Education trainers
in the month.

3. This notice applies to employees’ wages payable to you.
