 Implemented a “flipped classroom” teaching model, using Canvas, that resulted in enhanced
student engagement and a 44% increase in interactive instructional time.

students’ diverse learning abilities through teaching Pre-AP, Academic, and Lab.

Learning Environment:
 Partnered with the Houston Texans and Schumberger to bring the Texans Stat Challenge program
to McDonald Junior High to enhance mathematical concepts (integers for one) using real world
football statistics.
 Led the 6th Grade Cub Camp for our incoming 6th graders for two years.
 Participated with a team of teachers to develop and manage PBIS (Positive Behavioral
Interventions & Supports) with our student body.

Data Driven Practice:

 Analyzed 3rd grade math benchmark data and designed differentiated activities targeting specific
student learning needs that resulted in a 36% increase in scores.
