Is the Trinity a False Doctrine?

by Jeremy Kapp

"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good" (1Thessalonians 5:21)

This study will list the five most crucial Trinitarian beliefs and comment on each of them in
a rational manner. If you believe I am in error at any point in my study, please leave a
comment.

1. God is a triune being, existing of three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2. All three persons of the Godhead are co-equal.
3. All three persons of the Godhead are co-eternal
4. The current Trinity doctrine as formed by the Council of Nicaea states that the Son is not the
father. (But God is the Son)
5. The current Trinity doctrine as formed by the Council of Nicaea states that the Holy Spirit is
not the father. (But God is the Holy Spirit)

The illustration above is the official Catholic representation of the Trinity. The quotes were established by the Council of
Nicea in 325A.D. as an attempt to prove their claims.
Deuteronomy 6:4 (KJV)
4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
1. To say God is three is a direct contradiction to the inspired Scripture. Jesus quoted this (Mt 22:37) to
prove he is not a blasphemer, so ask yourself what the high priest might have said had Jesus answered
that God is three, and he is the second part of the Trinity.

John 14:28 (KJV)

28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would
rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

1 Corinthians 15:28 (KJV)

28
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him
that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
2. To say the Son is equal to the Father is a direct contradiction to Scripture. And (Rev 3:14) refers to
Jesus as the first of God's creation, which supports verses saying he was begotten.

Hebrews 1:5 (KJV)

5
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And
again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
3. To say anything begotten by the Father can be co-eternal is impossible. If they are both eternal, they
would be two brother gods... This ignores the fact he was begotten!
The doctrine of the Trinity depends on a very unbiblical idea: that the Son was "eternally begotten."
The Trinity claims that the Son of God had no beginning. He is an eternal uncreated being. Without
these unscriptural factors, there is no Trinity.

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)

6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and
his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of
Peace.
4. To say the Son is not the Father is a contradiction known to later Catholic theologians. Acts 2:36
says Yahweh made Jesus to be both Yahweh and Christ. And Colossians 1:15 says Yahweh made him
to be the image of the invisible God, firstborn of creation. (Quotes from ISR Bible2)

2
The oldest most reliable scrolls, the Syriac Peshitta say Jesus is Yahweh; however, this is also evident in the Greek texts,
which have, “Kurios made Jesus to be both Kurios and Christos.”
The truth is clear; God created a physical manifestation of himself, and this physical appearance is
called “the Son,” and all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in him bodily. (Col 2:9) This manifestation
is controlled and under the authority of Yahweh. (1 Cor 15:28 see above)

5. And... Is the Holy Spirit a Third Person?

It is completely misleading to read into the Bible a third Person, the Holy Spirit. "The spirit of Elijah"
(Luke 1:17) is not a different person from Elijah. Nor is "the Spirit of God" a different person from the
Father. The Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha Kodesh) in Hebrew means “Spirit Set-apart from all others,” and is
none other than God himself, who is Spirit. And the Holy Spirit we receive is God extending a portion
of his spirit to his creation.

Read the two accounts below carefully; by comparing two renditions of the same account, we can
prove that the Holy Spirit is indeed the Father.

When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how
or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in
that very hour what you ought to say." (Luke 12:11-12)
But beware of men, for they will hand you over to the courts and scourge you in their synagogues; and
you will even be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the
Gentiles. But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be
given you in that hour what you are to say. For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your
Father who speaks in you. (Matthew 10:17-20)

Point proved. The Holy Spirit is not a separate person in some Godhead, but is the same person as the
Father. This is also proven with the Son of God being fathered by the Holy Spirit, and more.

So, what does it all mean if the Trinity Doctrine is wrong?

It means The Father and The Holy Spirit are actually Titles for Yahweh, and the Son is Yahweh’s
manifestation, or appearance of Yahweh to us. The Holy Spirit is a portion of Yahweh’s Spirit that fills
us, helps us, and instructs us.
We need to confess and honor Jesus Christ, which is our Yahweh, the one our ancestors saw, our maker.
By doing this, we have the protection from the eternal Father “Yahweh,” and we are given a portion of
his Spirit to help and instruct us…
One God; The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all speaking of Yahweh, and this is why Jesus
said to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit… yet the Apostles always
baptized in the name of Jesus Christ! Jesus is Yahweh… Acts 2:36 and Col 1:15 say Jesus is Yahweh,
his physical image. (Protestant Bibles Translate God’s name “Yahweh” as “The Lord,” so when your
Bible says Jesus is the Lord, remember who the Lord was in Exodus 3:16)
1 Corinthians 8:6 (AENT)
6
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one
Yahweh, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
The word “Yahweh” means “The one that exists.” Strong’s Concordance uses the Name “Jehovah” if
you want to double check this. God said to Moses, Your ancestors worshipped gods of wood and stone,
but I am “The one that exists=Yahweh.” God said he is the only god that is real.
Jesus is the manifestation of the only God that exists, the physical image of Yahweh.

1 John 2:23 (NASB)

23
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.

Point proved.
Yahweh created a physical image of himself for us, and this son is our only link to the invisible,
spiritual Yahweh. (Col 1:15)

Acts 4:12 (KJV)

12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved.

Jesus Christ is Yahweh, (or “Yahushua the Messiah is Yahuah,” if you prefer exact Hebrew names.)
Praying to him honors the father, and believing in him grants salvation. So pray for forgiveness and
don’t diminish from Yahweh’s power by limiting Jesus to 33% of some trilogy godhead.
I’m not teaching that Trinitarians have no salvation, I feel that they do, primarily because Scripture
never teaches one must have a proper understanding of the relationship between the Father and the Son
to have eternal life. Nevertheless, it is always better to get closer to the truth.
