KOMPOSiTE WOODiT is an innovative technology
product, which is environment friendly alternative
for natural timber. It is a Fibre Wood Composite
(FWC) material made of patented thermoplastic
wood fibres and special bonding resins. It can be
extruded to various finishes and profiles, while its
appearance preserves the warmth and aesthetics
of natural wood. FWC is also a water resistant, fire
retardant and has a high resistance to weathering;
which makes it an ideal material for indoor and
outdoor architectural application.

KOMPOSiTE WOODiT materials are made of patented

thermoplastics (PP, etc.) and wood fibres (wood dusts, etc.)
with specific functional patented resin additives. The whole
production is fully computer controlled using CNC extruders.
The materials have advantage over both Polymer and Natural
wood.

Advantages

toughness of Polymers, with great carrying capacity and
shock resistance. Their durability is ten times longer than
that of hard wood.

of hard wood. They can be easily treated (sawed, nailed,

mildew proof, corrosion and fire resistant.

 Product Details
The FWC is a structurally rated product and
is a virtual replacement for wood. It looks
and feels just like wood. It is permanently
RAILING
coloured, insect resistant and will not
splinter or crumble. FWC will not fade, stain
or absorb water because it is manufactured
after analysing the local weather conditions.

What is Fibre Wood Composite (FWC)?
It is a virtually maintenance free replacement for wood, concrete or metal used in the
construction industry. FWC looks and feels just like wood. It is a permanently coloured
product that will not splinter, crumble and insects resistant

What can I build with FWC?

It is an ideal product for decks, railing, docks, siding, bulkheads, landscaping, fencing,
window and door trim, benches, picnic tables and waste bins and for any outdoor project
that requires repair or replacement in a few years. The uses are limited only by your
imagination.

Does it come in standard sizes and lengths?

We manufacture a wide variety of nominal lumber sizes including 10', 12', 16' 18' and
special order - 20' lengths. We offer the standard 5/4" deck board with the new hidden
fastener system providing a clean finish with no nails or screws showing.

Is FWC really maintenance and paint free?

Yes! The colour is all the way through the material. Because it sheds water naturally, it
never needs waterproofing, painting, staining and will never rot, crack, decay, split or
splinter. When it is installed correctly, there will be no maintenance other than periodic
cleaning.

How strong is FWC?

It is produced with a proprietary blend of plastic and cellulose fibre. The cellulose fibre
contained in it does not allow the amount of water absorption experienced by the wood
contained in most composite materials. It has many superior features than most of the
competitors brands. For further design characteristics, refer our ASTM test results.

What will occur if a chemical or gasoline is spilled on FWC?

FWC produced with a non-chemical reactive polymer base. Any chemical or gasoline
must be removed immediately to prevent the cellulose fibre from staining.

When the sun is beaming down on FWC will it be too hot to walk on ?
To direct sunlight, the darker colours will be 200 F hotter than the ambient temperature.
FKW runs about 150 F cooler than ambient temperature. Beige and light gray run about
1000 F - 1500 F hotter than ambient temperature. Remember if it is in the shade then it will
not be hotter than the temperature of the air. It is recommended that you should not walk
bare foot on your deck with temperatures about 900 F, if your deck is exposed to direct
sun light.

Will FWC colour fade because of exposure to the sun ?

Ultra-violet inhibitors have been added to it, to reduce colour fading due to extensive sun
exposure. Colour change will occur but will retain this lighter shade through out the life of
the product. Please refer to the colour chart for colour changes.

Does it break, melt or burn?

Under normal conditions and use, cold or hot temperatures will not affect FWC. It will
soften at 1800 F with a melting point of 3800 F. No product distortions or damage will occur
within the service temperature range of -1000 F to 1250 F. It is self extinguishing when the
flame is removed. FWC like wood will burn when exposed to a continuous combustion
source. Please be careful of charcoal ash and embers, use a flame retardant pad below
your charcoal barbeque.

Our standard colours are beige, grey, brown, rose, red walnut & mahogany.
