a. Meet the unspoken needs by going the extra mile to discover what your client
really wants but is afraid to ask for
b. When you think, you’re done, let it sit on the shelf for a day. Then go back
and make it even better. o Don’t ask whether your client will like what
you’ve done; ask yourself if you would purchase the product based on the
advertising you’ve provided

Project Expo Winners

1st: Deep Learning based Canal Inspection using Drone
The irrigation canals are spread over large areas. Due to continuous changes in the atmosphere and
corruption, there are many possibilities of damage on the surface of canal. It is very difficult to find
and detect this for an engineer manually. The inspection of a particular region is given to one
person. Sometimes due to bad weather and lack of time and transportation convenience, the person
is not able to cover all the canals in that region. Moreover, as the record is taken manually it tends
to have errors. Also, due to corruption sometimes either the information is not conveyed or wrong
information is given to the authorities. To overcome this issue, different techniques using deep
learning and image processing and drone can be used to identify the edges and the damage in it.
Instead of using the usual manual methods it can be automated by employing drones to get images
of the canals and do analysis on these images using various techniques of Deep Learning.
2nd: Raspberry Pi as a Thin Client
Usually, in Client Server System, Client requires more tedious configuration and it requires much
technical knowledge on user part for making connection with the server. Purpose of our system is to
overcome this limitation and to provide more quick and easy access to server. In this system,
multiple clients with raspberry pi will be able to make connection with the server through our
system login interface which requires only username and password rather than tedious
configurations. Also, users will be able to access server-side resources. The main feature of this
system is cost effectiveness as it eliminates needs for purchasing expensive license application for
individual clients. Client can make quick connection with server which increases the efficiency of
the system. Additionally, it also provides easy access and equivocal resource utilization.
Implementation of such methodology would be profitable for company, computer labs, libraries.
3rd: Digital Home Workout Assistant using Kinect and Unity
Nowadays, people’s lifestyle becomes fast and growing and also each and every people desire
to look young and live healthy due to this they blindly follow fitness trends without proper
cognition. It may lead to injury or other side effects. The main prominence of this system is to
assist society in such way that they can rectify their well-being. This paper is about Kinect
based system for Home workout exercise assist using Kinect. In this system, we recognize the
exercise performed by the user and provide live feedback based on their exercise movement,
in addition, its facilities exercise instructor to provide vital intimation about exercise step to
the abecedarian user. With the help of this system, the user can maintain health, save time and
also save cost.
The projects were innovative and variety of emerging technologies were used.
- Haresh Prajapati
(Microsoft Practice Head and Branch
Manager, Sigma Infosolutions)

Students were really dedicated towards their project and had in depth knowledge about their
specific domains . - Tushiat Shah (Infostretch)
The projects were developed with proper understanding of usecase and requirements which
can be useful to the society.
