Definition of advertisement
Adv. is a text aims to promote or to publish something.

The purpose of advertisement

To inform, to announce, to convince, to publish the product or service the reader

Kinds of Advertisement based on the media

1. Print ads is a type of ads published by print media such as newspaper, magazine, tabloids, etc. Ads is
known in two forms, namely: classified Ads and Column Ads
2. Advertorial Ads is packaged like news
3. Display Ads. It is larger image and writing is displayed.
4. Electronic Ads is published electronic media like radio ads, tv ads, and so o.

Language characteristics:
1. Stand out the information being emphasized
2. The choice of words used indicates the target
3. The choice of words used is interesting, precise, logical, and polite
4. Persuade the reader

Definition of Announcement
Announcement adalah pernyataan (pemberitahuan resmi) dalam bentuk lisan atau tulis yang berisi sesuatu
untuk di ketahui oleh semua orang. Pengumuman dapat kita dengar atau baca dimana saja, misalnya
pengumuman lisan disekolah atau di tempat-tempat umum, sedangkan pengumuman tertulis dapat kita baca
di papan pengumuman, di majalah, dan di koran.

new admissions, and so on”.

Generic Structure Announcement

1. Title: Ini adalah bagian yang paling penting karena mewakili isi keseluruhan dari pengumuna tersebut.
Meski begitu kadang tidak disebutkan dengan jelas.
2. Explanation: Penjelasan lebih lanjut tentang pengumunan tesebut. Biasanya terdiri dari informasi dasar
yang mencakup: jenis kegiatan, waktu, tempat, dan partisipant.
