Bank focus on CASA because there is less interest paid on CASA as compared to RD
and FD so gud for Bank's profitability

1. In Current a/c banks are not required to pay any interest and
But if banks have more fixed deposits, the cost of funds will be more. That�s why
in the banking system banks requires more current a/c and saving a/c deposits, but
the problem here is CASA deposits can be withdrawn at any point of time, they are
unstable deposits, today he may deposit 10 crores , tomorrow he may withdraw all
the 10 crores, that�s why they are volatile deposits.
sir, if ever a drunkard comes to the bank i will seek some senior manager's advice.
even if no senior is present at that time i will politely tell the person about the
bank's rules and discipline and ask him to go home and visit the bank next day.
what is ur opinion about Govt intervention in RBI ?
I think Govt should not intervene in matters of RBI because RBI is autonomous body
and with frequent govt intervention.....whole institution will loose its
credibility.
poverty is a state i which people are nt able to fulfill even their basic amenities

Recently we saw most of the PSUs are undergoing disinvestment process.So what are
your views on this it is good or bad for economy.Justify?
If we see the disinvestment scenario of indian psu, we find that most of the stakes
are being bought by LIC or other finacial institution which are controlled by govt
of india. So still after dissinvestment , govt is controlling the PSUs in indirect
way. So, i think it wont impact our economy in any major way.

Banking is accepting deposits from the person who has access of funds and providing
loans to those who need it and thereby earning profit.
moreover it also includes payment and settlement and financial services like
Bancassurance and Mutual Funds.
What do you know about gold monetisation scheme?
It is a scheme by GoI aimed to mobilize large portion of Gold which is lying idle
and to use it for development of the country. According to GOI 20000 tons of Gold
is lying idle in the country.
In this scheme one can deposit gold and can earn interest on that.
Minimum- 30 gms to no limit
period- Short term(1-3 years),Medium(5-7 years)
and long term(12-15 years)
