SADARA Chemicals Project at Jubail, KSA worked as Supervisor-I (June 2013 to Feb 2015)

Responsibilities handled
 Involved in designing of foundations, technical queries, engineering solutions, proposals, redlined
& as-built drawings.
 Involved in scope development for capital and expense project for Yanbu Refinery.
 Design reviews of packages 30%, 60% and 90% at level of DBSP, FEL-2 and detail design for Aramco
Projects.
 Fire Heater/furnaces/boiler/stacks/ refractory inspections and material expertise.
 Review, analysis and approve the quality plans, work procedures, etc.
 Review, analysis and to approve the project quality plan (PQP), material submittals, ITPs,
Checklists, FDT and concrete compressive test results, hydro-test packages for RTR piping,
technical quarries, etc.
 Review and approve pre-qualification of supplier and sub-contractor.
 Review, evaluate and approve vendors/suppliers inspection assignment packages (IAPs).
 Conduct shop visits prior to fabrication and suppliers approval.

 Reviewing supplier’s material submittal and forward to onward liaison with consultant and client.
 Responsible to verifying the inspection reports related civil works, mechanical work such as
underground HDPE piping, hydro-test, punch list, etc which are carried out by the QC inspectors.
 Verification of contractor’s QMS procedures through periodic assessments.
 Prepare & evaluate the contractor’s PQI score, etc.
 Prepare focus assessment.
 Preparing daily, weekly and monthly quality reports to submit Field Supervisor / Project Quality
Manager (PQM).
 Attend weekly QA/QC and construction meetings and discuss issues, solutions.
 Review Aramco and contractor internal NCRs and review the contractor reply for root causes,
corrective actions and preventive actions.
 Performe surveillance at site and enter logbook entries through QMIS (Quality Management
Information System) as Proactive Notification / Violation after the Fact / For Information.
 Prepare highlights and conference call sheets for daily and weekly conference call.
 Prepare company monthly invoices as per work progress.
 Perform rate analysis and prepare extra claims as per extra work.
 Monitor work progress according to contract schedule.
 Attend weekly Progress meetings with consultants and subcontractors.
 Support to Project Manager in coordination with other concerned departments.
 Maintain progress records, inspection records etc.
 Manage the third party agency for WPS & PQR for Saudi Aramco approval.
 Review the Hydro test packages (CS, HDPE, RTR) and reviewing the weld tracking records.
