ISO 9001

ISO 22000

ISO/IEC 27001
ISO/IEC 27001 formally specifies a management system that is
intended to bring information security under explicit
management control. Being a formal specification means that it
mandates specific requirements. Organizations that claim to
have adopted ISO/IEC 27001 can therefore be formally audited
and certified compliant with the standard
ISO/IEC 17025
It applies directly to those
organizations that produce
testing and calibration results. Laboratories
use ISO/IEC 17025 to implement a quality
system aimed at improving their ability to
consistently produce valid results. It is also
the basis for accreditation from an
Accreditation Body. Since the standard is
about competence, accreditation is simply
formal recognition of a demonstration of that competence.
ISO 13485
Represents the requirements for a comprehensive
management system for the design and
manufacture of medical devices, compliance with
ISO13485 is often seen as the first step in
achieving compliance with European regulatory
requirements.
ISO/TS 16949
The aim of ISO/TS16949 is the development of a
quality management system that provides for
continual improvement, emphasizing defect
prevention and the reduction of variation and
waste in the supply chain. TS16949 applies to the
design/development, production and, when
relevant, installation and servicing of automotive-
related products.
SA8000
SA8000 is based on the principles of international
human rights norms as described in International
Labor Organization conventions, the United
Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and
the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It
measures the performance of companies in eight
key areas: child labor, forced labor, health and
safety, free association and collective bargaining,
discrimination, disciplinary practices, working
hours and compensation. SA8000 also provides for
a social accountability management system to demonstrate ongoing conformance
with the standard
WRAP
WRAP, (Worldwide Responsible Apparel
Production), is being lately recognized around the
world as the most reliable, yet economically
efficient compliance system ,for factories producing
sewn goods, that addresses labor practices, factory
conditions and environmental and customs
compliance. The WRAP principles received the
public endorsement of the American Apparel
Manufacturers Association, and are the only
independent and globally supported certification
program. Global support for WRAP from consumers, manufactures and
governments grow by each passing day.
GLOBALGAP
GLOBALGAP (formerly known as
Europe GAP) has established itself as
a key reference for Good Agricultural Practices (G.A.P.)
in the global market-place. The GLOBALGAP standard
is primarily designed to reassure consumers about how
food is produced on the farm by minimizing detrimental
environmental impacts of farming operations, reducing
the use of chemical inputs and ensuring a responsible
approach to worker health and safety as well as animal
welfare.
C-TPAT
C-TPAT offers businesses an opportunity to play an active role in the war
against terrorism. By participating in this first worldwide supply chain security
initiative, companies will ensure a more secure supply chain for their
employees, suppliers and customers. A reduced number of inspections (reduced
border times)
C-TPAT recognizes the complexity of international supply chains and security
practices, and endorses the application and implementation of security
measures based upon risk. Therefore, the program allows for flexibility and the
customization of security plans based on the member’s business model.
CE marking
The CE Marking is a kind of trade passport for
the European marketplace: it allows the
manufacturer to freely circulate their product
throughout the 18 countries of the European
Economic Area (EEA).
There is only one set of requirements and
procedures to comply with in designing and
manufacturing a product for the entire EEA. The
various and conflicting national regulations are
eliminated. As a result, the product no longer needs
to be adapted to the specific requirements of the different member states of the
EEA.
