El empleo de la biorremediación como técnica para el tratamiento de relaves de
cianuración genera diversos beneficios, ya que es una tecnología que se puede desarrollar
a bajos costos, es amigable con el medio ambiente, lo cual lo hace sostenible. Asimismo,
el empleo de bacterias, permite degradar el cianuro, de esta manera se logra mitigar la
contaminación que deja el mal tratamiento de los relaves.
