SUPERIOR COURT OF JUSTICE

(Toronto Region)

BETWEEN:

HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN

– and –

ROHINIE BISESAR

AGREED STATEMENT OF FACTS

Rosemarie (Kim) Junor was a 28 year old newlywed. She worked at MEDCAN, a private
medical clinic in downtown Toronto, as an ultrasound technician.

Toronto’s downtown pedestrian walkway, also known as the PATH, is a mostly underground
network in the heart of Toronto’s financial and entertainment sector. It spans more than 30
kilometres of restaurants, shopping, services and entertainment. The Shoppers Drug Mart store
is located in the Toronto Dominion Centre within the PATH network.

The labyrinth of shops and facilities within the PATH is covered by an extensive system of
surveillance cameras. The Shoppers Drug Mart has over ten cameras within its own store. The
footage recorded is date and time stamped.

On Friday December 11th 2015, during an afternoon break from work, Rosemarie Junor went to
the Shoppers Drug Mart in the underground PATH system. As Ms. Junor browsed through the
store she spoke on her cell phone to her closest friend Devika Singh. The time was shortly
before 3 p.m.

Rosemarie Junor stated to her friend that she was almost finished her shopping and needed only
to pick up some lotion for her husband Lenny. Ms. Junor and Ms. Singh were in the midst of
their conversation when Ms Singh suddenly heard screaming over the phone.

Located at the front of the Shoppers Drug Mart, just inside the store, is a surveillance camera. It
is pointed directly at the mall access entryway and depicts the entrance into the premises.

On December 11th, 2015 at 2:55:24 pm a small woman dressed in a dark jacket; a lavender shirt
and carrying a distinctive large red shopping bag enters the store. As the woman makes her way
through the store, another surveillance camera clearly depicts a facial shot of the woman carrying
the red bag. The woman is Rohinie Bisesar.

Camille Enriquez is also in the Shoppers Drug Mart store that afternoon. Surveillance cameras
show her shopping in the back of the store, near the cosmetics section. At the same time
Rosemarie Junor can be seen shopping in the cosmetic section near Camille Enriquez.

Rohinie Bisesar can also be seen in the same surveillance footage. Ms. Bisesar is still carrying
her large red shopping bag as she approaches Ms. Enriquez from behind who is walking in the
store aisle. Ms. Enriquez watches Ms. Bisesar as Ms. Bisesar overtakes and passes by her. Ms.
Enriquez continues to watch Ms. Bisesar as Ms. Bisesar directly approaches Rosemarie Junor in
a manner that Ms. Enriquez later describes “as if she knows her”.

Camille Enriquez can clearly be seen on the surveillance footage intently watching something
taking place beyond the camera’s lens.

Ms. Enriquez subsequently diverts her attention from Rosemarie Junor and Rohinie Bisesar and
continues shopping.

A second surveillance camera, located within the cosmetic section of the store, depicts
Rosemarie Junor carrying a cosmetic product as she leaves the “FX COMESTICS” display in an
open corner of the store.

Ms. Junor is depicted taking several steps towards a nearby aisle and can be seen stepping
forward into the aisle and then backwards out of the same aisle; the view of her body partially
obstructed by the tall shelving as she enters the aisle.

At the same precise moment, the flash of a red item is seen from within the aisle directly in front
of Rosemarie Junor. It is Rohinie Bisesar still carrying her distinctive large red shopping bag.

According to surveillance footage, at 2:56:40 pm Rosemarie Junor turns away from the direction
she had begun to walk; she backs out of the aisle she was about to enter and Rosemarie Junor is
clutching her chest.

Rohinie Bisesar had stabbed Rosemaire Junor once directly in the heart.

A surveillance camera depicts Rohinie Bisesar at 2:55:56 pm walking off to the right of the
camera screen and Camille Enriquez is seen in the same shot as well.

Camille Enriquez had heard the screams of Rosemarie Junor. As a result Ms. Enriquez returned
her attention to the woman who had just passed her in the shopping isle: Rohinie Bisesar.

Ms. Enriquez sees Rohinie Bisesar place something on a cosmetic display stand; using her right
hand to do so. Ms. Bisear then casually walks away still within in the store. Camille Enriquez
takes a closer look into the make-up display and sees a small knife with what appears to be blood
on the tip.

Jennifer Keenan, an employee of Shoppers Drug Mart, was working in the back of the store near
the cosmetic section and pharmacy counter. While stocking the shelves Ms. Keenan heard
screaming to her right. A young woman is approaching her, her hand is to her chest, and she
says to Jennifer Keenan “I just got stabbed”.

The young woman was, of course, Rosemarie Junor. Ms. Keenan ushers Ms. Junor to the
adjacent pharmacy section and brings her behind the counter. Other store employees also arrive
to help.

Surveillance camera #5 depicts a view from above and behind the pharmacy counter. At 2:56:42
pm Ms. Keenan and Rosemarie Junor enter the camera’s view. As store employees assist Ms.
Junor to lay down on the carpet behind the pharmacy counter, the screen shot at 2:56:46 pm
depicts Rosemarie Junor’s face. She is clearly in distress

At 2:56:18 pm. the surveillance camera at the entrance of Shoppers Drug Mart depicts Rohinie
Bisesar leaving the store.

At approximately 2:57 pm the Toronto Police Communications receive a 911 call regarding a
stabbing within the underground PATH system in the City of Toronto. The stabbing has
occurred in the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 66 Wellington Street West; the Toronto Dominion
Centre.

Toronto EMS, Fire Service and Police respond to the scene. Upon their arrival they locate
Rosemarie Junor in severe distress in the pharmacy area of the store.

Rosemarie Junor was transported via an emergency run to St. Michael’s Hospital by attending
paramedics; treated in the Trauma Unit; and thereafter transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of
the hospital.

Donald Reid was one of the EMS personnel who rode with Ms. Junor in the back of the
ambulance during the emergency run. While his patient ultimately became incoherent and
unresponsive, Paramedic Reid did initially ask Ms. Junor if she knew who had “done this” to her.
Before she lost consciousness Rosemarie Junor told the paramedic she did not know the person
who had stabbed her.

During the course of the subsequent police investigation absolutely no link could be found
between Rosemarie Junor and Rohinie Bisesar.

They were complete strangers to each other with no known interaction until the day of the attack.

When security officers originally responded to the stabbing of Rosemarie JUNOR, Shoppers
Drug Mart store staff had secured the knife discarded by Rohinie Bisesar. The knife was
protected as it was found in the display stand and seized by police.

On February 3, 2016 Trevor Claxton, a biologist from the Centre of Forensic Sciences, provided
a report in relation to the knife seized. The blood visible on the tip of the knife’s blade was
confirmed as Rosemarie Junor’s.

Police investigation revealed the knife used by Rohinie Bisesar to stab Rosemarie Junor was not
one sold in the Shoppers Drug Mart store.

Homicide investigators determined the knife is one for which a patent is pending and is
exclusively sold by the DOLLAR STORE. As a result the only store in which such a knife as the
one used by Rohinie Bisesar to stab Rosemarie Junor may be purchased in Canada is the
DOLLAR STORE.

On the afternoon of December 11, 2015 when Rohinie Bisesar entered the Shoppers Drug Mart
store she was already in possession of the knife she used to stab Rosemarie Junor.

On December 15th, 2015 Rosemarie Junor’s medical condition deteriorated significantly. Dr.
Marshall, her attending physician in the Intensive Care Unit of St. Michael’s Hospital, declared
her brain dead at 2 pm.

At 8:10 pm Ms. Junor’s ventilator was turned off and she went into cardiac arrest. Rosemarie
Junor was pronounced dead at 8:30 pm on December 15th, 2015.
