Youth Office offers basic training classes for youth
ministers
The diocesan Office of Youth Ministry will present “Basic
Training in Youth Ministry” courses beginning in June. The
courses are designed to introduce current and future youth
ministers to comprehensive youth ministry, to enhance
theological, pastoral and leadership skills, and to empower
those who are ministering to youth. The first course, entitled
“Foundations of Catholic Youth Ministry,” will be offered at
three locations: June 19 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Our Lady of
Guadalupe Parish in Austin, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St.
Jerome Parish in Waco and June 28 from 1 to 5 p.m. at St.

Micah 6 Food Pantry
The Micah 6 Food Pantry is really grateful for all the
grocery bags you have been bringing, however, this
spring has been a very busy spring at the food bank and
they are in need of all the basic staples of food. Spaghetti,
macaroni, rice, sauce and canned vegetables are especially
needed. Your help is gratefully appreciated and needed.
Please be generous. We have to apply the words of Chapter 6
of the Book of Micah in our neighborhood: "do justice, love
kindness, and walk humbly with God."

post-college age people. We share and live the love of Christ
in community through worship, faith formation, social
