Youth Office offers basic training classes for youth
ministers
The diocesan Office of Youth Ministry will present “Basic
Training in Youth Ministry” courses beginning in June. The
courses are designed to introduce current and future youth
ministers to comprehensive youth ministry, to enhance
theological, pastoral and leadership skills, and to empower
those who are ministering to youth. The first course, entitled
“Foundations of Catholic Youth Ministry,” will be offered at
three locations: June 19 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Our Lady of
Guadalupe Parish in Austin, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St.
Jerome Parish in Waco and June 28 from 1 to 5 p.m. at St.
