A. LOAD-UP PROCEDURE to PMAX

1. Initial Condition:
a. Assumption: Unit Load is at P-Min (60MW and at “BASE mode”) √ √
b. No abnormal condition on the Boiler and Auxiliaries that could √ √
affect the performance test.
2. Request Clearance to NGCP-SO and record the time of confirmation √
and name of the officer on duty
3. Call or text the SMC Trader for the Load-up √
4. Notify the Water Treatment for loading-up for chemical dosing/stroke √
adjustment.
5. Adjust the MW Load on the TCS until 90MW. Maintain the ramp rate TCE194_A1 √
of 1MW/min.
6. Adjust the MV (speed of Limestone Roto Feeder) to 55%. AICFG10571 √
Note: This is to avoid the shoot-up of SOx while increasing of the coal set value
7. Adjust the Coal Master set value/O2/PAF Bias/and staging Air to FIC-CM /HS-O2/ √
sustain the boiler parameters. HIC-TADBS
Maintain the ff:
a. Furnace Bed Temp Gradient max of 2°C/min
b. Bed Temp 850 to 920°C (depend on the coal HV)
8. Gradually adjust the desuperheater to maintain the Main Steam Temp TICMS1004/TICBR1150/
and pressure TICBR1130/TICBR1140
9. If the MSF reach 230T/H, set the Boiler Master (HIC-BM) and Boiler HIC-BM / PIC-COBM √
Pressure Control (PIC-COBM) to Auto.
10. If the load achieve is already 90MW, set the ff to change from “BASE” FIC-CM/ EIC-TM / HIC- √
to “CCS” mode ULD
a. Coal Master FIC-CM to Remote
b. Turbine Master EIC-TM to Auto
c. ULD Setter HIC-ULD to Auto
11. Set the ff: √
a. Target MW to 150MW ULD Setter Target MW
b. Ramp Rate 1MW/min HIC-MWRL
12. Monitor Boiler and Turbine parameters while ramping up to P-Max √
a. MST/RHT: 538°C
b. MSP at 126ksc
c. RHP at 33.3ksc
13. Call the NGCP-SO if the P-Max(150MW) was achieve and record the √
time and the officer in-charge.
Note: In-case there will be abnormal situation occurred while loading-up, hold the
load-up. Informed NGCP-SO and SMC Trader for Load Profile adjustment.
Informed Operations Manager and Plant Manager for the details.
