Teaching Mathematics in Elementary should have enough time for a teacher and pupils
to work on Mathematical problem and computational exercises. Math learning areas requires a lot of
patience to find the solutions and answers to a problem. Mathematics teacher must have an idea on
how they can teach easily to pupils solving numbers problems. He must have a logical and intuitive mind
to discover mind to discover the answer.
The skills in Mathematical concept really exercise out mind to compute the four
fundamental operations, fraction, ratio and proportion, interpretation of graph, measurement, using
different formula of angles and application of Mathematics problem in real life.

To deal with mathematical problem is one of the difficulties of our pupils. And it is
reflected in their periodical test, NAT and other performance assessment. Teacher provides a better
knowledge and skills in teaching so pupils could appreciate this subject. However, pupils achieved a low
performance result and became a perception of not mastered lesson blaming on part of everyone
concerned. But as we say, we have to continue to strive for excellence by providing more exercises and
practice to raise score in the different test.
