PADA ANAK BALITA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BASARANG
KABUPATEN KAPUAS

Balita merupakan masa yang sangat rawan terhadap berbagai macam

penyakit. Hal ini terjadi karena sistem kekebalan tubuhnya belum benar-benar
terbentuk, salah satu penyakit yang sering terjadi pada balita adalah Infeksi
Saluran Pernafasan (ISPA), dimana ISPA merupakan salah satu penyebab Angka
Kematian Bayi. Penelitianinibertujuanuntuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang
berhubungan dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita di wilayah kerja Basarang
Kabupaten Kapuas.Jenispenelitian yang digunakanadalahpenelitian deskriptif
korelasi dengan menggunakandesainpenelitiankuantitatif dengan rancangan
deskriptif korelasional. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel pada penelitian adalah seluruh Balita yang
menderita ISPA berjumlah 89 padabulanjanuari-april.Hasilpenelitianmenunjukan
pengetahuan ibu terbanyak kategori pengetahuan cukup 39 orang (49,4%), sikap
ibu terbanyakkategori sikap negatif 41 orang (51,9%), Riwayat pemberian ASI
pada balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Basarang, terbanyak kategori diberi ASI
50 orang (63,3%).Hasilanalisismenunjukanada hubungan antara faktor
pengetahuan ibu dengan penyakit ISPA dengan nilai p<α, , Ada hubungan
antara faktor sikap ibu dengan penyakit ISPA dengan nilai p<α, Ada hubungan
antara riwayat pemberian ASI dengan penyakit ISPA dengan nilai p<α .
Diharapkankepadatenagakesehatanuntukmeningkatkanpengetahuanibutentang
ISPA denganmelakukanpromosikesehatan.

Toddlers are a very vulnerable time to various diseases. This happens because the
immune system has not really formed, one of the disease that often occurs in
infants is Infection Respiratory Tract (ISPA), where ISPA is one cause of Infant
Mortality Rate. This study aims to determine the factors associated with ISPA
occurrence in infants in the working area of Basarang Kapuas District. The type of
research used is descriptive correlation research using quantitative research design
with correlational descriptive design. The approach used in this research is Cross
Sectional approach. The results of this study showed that the knowledge of the
mother of the most knowledge category was 39 people (49.4%), the attitudes of
the most negative categories of negative attitude 41 people (51.9%), the history of
breastfeeding for under five children in the work area of Basarang Public Health
Center 50 people (63.3%). The result of analysis showed that there was a
correlation between maternal knowledge factor with ISPA disease with p <α
value, there was correlation between maternal attitude factor with ISPA disease
with p <α value, there was correlation between breastfeeding history with ISPA
disease with p <α value. It is expected that health workers to improve mother's
knowledge about ISPA by doing health promotion.

THE FACTORS OF THAT RELATED WITH HAPS OF URI ( UPPER

RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTION) IN TODDLERSIN THE REGION
AREA OF BASARANG PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER ON KAPUAS DISTRICT

Toddlers were very vulnerable to various of diseases. This happens because the immune

Respiratory Tract Infection ( URI), where URI was one of the causes of Infant Mortality Rate.
This study aims to determine the factors of that related with haps of URI in toddlers in the region
area of Basarang public health center on Kapuas District. The type of research used was
descriptive correlation research using the quantitative research design with the correlational
descriptive design.The approach used in this research was Cross Sectional approach.The samples
in this study were all toddlers who suffer ISPA total was 89 on January- April.The result of the
research showed that the knowledge of the mothers with the most knowledge category was 39
people (49,4%), the attitude of the mother the most negative attitude category 41 people (51,9%),
the history of breastfeeding in toddlers in the region area of Basarang, the highest category was
given of breastfeeding 50 people (63,3%). The result of the analysis showed that there was a
relationship between maternal knowledge factor with URI disease with p<α value, there was
correlation between mother attitude factor with URI disease with p<α value, there was a
relationship between breastfeeding history with URI disease with p <α value. It was expected that
health workers to improve mother's knowledge about ISPA by doing health promotion. It was
expected to the health workers to improve of mother's knowledge about ARI by doing of health
promotion.
